Nonetheless, we are fraught with endless legislation which seeks to divide, malign, and disparage segments of our society. Well intentioned but misguided legislators have lost the original concept of our great constitution. When Thomas Jefferson wrote, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”. Jefferson did not add any exclusion provisions. He did not say, except, blacks, women, homosexuals, children, Catholics, Jews, or foreign speaking people.

It is no exaggeration to say that this is a watershed moment in America’s history. Cataclysmic levels of division, and social prejudice prevail. The erosion of our American values by Washington’s political elite must be stopped.
